I MUST "buy" that lizards have become (one, long ago, not now) snakes, because, guaranteed, there ARE fossils --several -- that demonstrate this. There are also a huge number of anatomical similarities, including the vestigial limbs still present in many old-lineage snakes, such as pythons and boas. And heck, even Genesis says that God zapped the snake (Presumably with another snap of his fingers, as ?Said put it) to take away its legs and henceforth crawl on its belly.
And a horse is the same "kind" as a donkey? Forgive me, but what do you put in your coffee? Have you ever tried to run derby on a donkey?
Finally, why is a "2,000 year old book" written by numerous fallible humans supposed to be believed when the simple parlour game of telephone so amply demonstrates that humans can't send a correct version of a massage around a circle of eight players? How, then, can anyone assume perfection in a book that went through scores of original authors, tens of languages, and thousands of scribes over 20 centuries? Methinks that the ego of humanity has reached a perilou height of unmitigated arrogance. Again.

Most of what you are saying could be examples of micro evolution, something that Christians don't necessarily disagree with. In other words the Flounder, is still a flounder, it is not becoming a moose. The toad, growing longer legs, is still a toad. This is micro, not Macro evolution.

I am not buying lizards are becoming snakes, because guaranteed, there is no fossil record to prove this.

If evolution was true we would have thousands of other animals in transformation to a new species. Species are always the same species, that don't change into something else.

A horse can "evolve" into a donkey, because they are the same "kind" as the bible puts it.

They all support the Theory of Evolution, in that they follow the predictions that it makes. This is an excellent collection of facts. The last part of the question, "now and forever," is a bit of a misstatement. Nothing concerning the future can be 'proven' beyond a shadow of a doubt. We can only determine what is most likely to be true. Even the Theory of Gravity is subject to this rule, but that does little to minimize its usefulness.

Then there are the classic melanistic moths, the increase in tuskless African elephants, or the chicken embryo with reptile teeth.

Not to mention all those fossils, the genetics, the patterns in morphology, embryology, and the simple location of animals.

The amount of data you have to ignore to reject evolution is astonishing, yet some people still manage it.

I don't think there has ever been any question about mutations within a species, or simple adaptation, over time.

Evolution is the interaction between genetic mutations and the effect of those mutations have on the fecundity of the beings who bear them.

If organisms alter their environment, knowingly or unknowingly, they alter the effect of mutations on the beings who carry them.

Well I don't have time for all of the things you pointed out so let me just address the first one. The snow lotus you say is becoming smaller. Is that snow lotus becoming something OTHER than a snow lotus, albeit a smaller version of itself. No.

And to your last point. Are humans becoming something other than human? I still have nothing but thumbs down with no answer to this simple question. Let's say I leave a dirty, smog filled city where I have asthma attacks on a regular basis and suffer from serious allergies and move to a nice clean city, maybe another country where the air is clean and fresh. Suddenly my asthma and allergies are gone. Did I just evolve into something other than a human being or did my body adapt to it's new environment. To point to one species adapting to a new environment or need and saying it's proof of evolution is a smoke screen, IMO.

Why would a god update something that is perfect?

And yet they still won't see changes as intermediary steps to something else in the long term. It's just easier for them to ignore it...

But my 2,000 year old book said some guy I've never seen snapped his fingers and made all that happen.

Beat that!

You are preaching to the choir and screaming in a vacuum.

YEC do not reach conclusions after examining evidence, but rather mine "evidence" that seem to back up their ideological presuppositions.
