How is Vedic Astrology better than Tropical Astrology?
Sometimes I feel Western Astrology isn’t just me. I’ll read my chart and find that some of it fits me than some of it doesn’t.
And does Vedic Astrology center only on the ascendant, and if it does why? In Western Astrology, I know for a fact that the Sun, Moon, and Ascendant are all equally taken into consideration. Why not in Vedic Astrology?
I like Vedic Astrology and I want to know which one is better and more precise. Does Vedic Astrology also include synastry? It’s really bugging me, and I just need to know.

Also how long has Vedic Astrology been around and why isn’t it as or more popular than Western Astrology? I’m beginning to think Western Astrology is weird because of what I’ve read about Vedic astrology.
Vedic Astrology is very popular in India. I think both work well in the hands of a good astrologer.
Personally, I find Vedic more “fate” oriented and Western Astrology more “free will” oriented… and all my training and experience is in Western, so I cannot offer any other info about Vedic.
But it’s all a matter of what suits you.
Nobody has done any testing to compare the astrology “systems” so this will remain opinion based only. I seek evidence of an area that astrology does fill it’s claims, not speculation that it “may” meaning also it may not. Can astrology succeed anywhere better than random chance, making it clearly useful? Or better than possible and simpler alternatives?
There are very large differences because Vedic Astrology is sidereal based while Western Astrology is tropical based.
