I live in Honduras and have bananas, papaya and guava all growing in partial sun. They don't do as well as the plants in full sun but they grow and produce. I have never tried strawberries.

Pick something else as these are full sun, tropical plants.

Do you live in the tropics? Strawberries are not a tropical fruit, so they are probably your best choice if you live in a place that freezes in the winter.
